During senior year of high school, as the COVID-19 pandemic shut down the world, a childhood dream came to life through the design and construction of a mini ramp. Combining passions for skateboarding, design, and construction, a personal concept was transformed into a functional structure. The project required meticulous planning, including researching dimensions and sourcing materials. Construction of the ramp was done entirely by hand, balancing costs, logistics, and aesthetics.

I first discovered ceramics in my sophomore year of high school, starting with no knowledge and very limited resources. With little formal instruction, I taught myself through experimentation and quickly fell in love with the process. Pottery became a relaxing and grounding practice for me, a balance to my other creative work. During my gap year before university, I invested in my own wheel and launched an Etsy shop, where I sold my pieces and shared my passion with others. Each piece reflects that journey of exploration, self-teaching, and the joy I find in creating with my hands.
